Link-Belt 300|AT and ATC-3275 handle AZ bridge replacement project
A 300-ton Link-Belt Cranes 300|AT and 275-ton ATC-3275 assisted a bridge replacement operation in Mesa, Arizona.
Led by the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT), the project included replacing two bridges over the Salt River Project Tempe Canal, east of Loop 101 and Broadway Road. The structures were replaced by a single bridge carrying traffic in both directions.
Operated by the Marco Crane & Rigging Co. of Phoenix, the Link-Belt all-terrain cranes picked and placed precast concrete bridge sections in tandem. Construction began in September 2025 and was completed in the spring of 2026.
