Link-Belt cranes build new asphalt plant in eastern KY

American Industrial Contractors of Lexington, Kentucky, assembled a new ASTEC asphalt plant at Hinkle Contracting’s Natural Bridge Stone Co. in Stanton, Kentucky. The job site is both a limestone quarry and hot mix asphalt plant serving the greater central and eastern Kentucky areas.

To upgrade mix production of the site, a Link-Belt 275-ton ATC-3275 and a 120-ton 120HT were used in tandem to lift several large components for the new plant, including silos and tanks.
