Link-Belt at bauma 2025
Link-Belt Cranes and Sumitomo Heavy Industries Construction Cranes Co., Ltd. (HSC) will again partner at bauma 2025 and co-exhibit booth space FS 903/1.
Link-Belt will feature both a 110-metric ton (120-ton) 120|HTLB truck crane and a 90-metric ton (100-ton) 100|RT at the trade fair, the world’s largest for construction, building material, and construction vehicles, which takes place in Munich from April 7 to 13 this year. Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, Link-Belt will present a demo of the 100|RT’s two-piece offsetable SmartFly.
100|RT
Fitted with a five-section 12.3–47.2-meter (40.6–155-foot) full-power formed boom and a maximum tip height of 72.3 meters (237 feet), the 100|RT features Link-Belt Pulse 2.0 technology, versatile V-CALC capabilities, an ergonomic cab design, and a six-speed transmission Cummins diesel engine. Paired with a high-strength steel upper frame, the 100|RT’s winch design and ultrawide drums allow for a maximum winch line pull of 105.1 kilonewtons (23,632 pounds).
120|HTLB
The Link-Belt 120|HTLB delivers a class-leading reach of 60 meters (197 feet), including a seven-section pin and latch boom that features an optional 17.7-meter (58-foot) two- or three-piece offsetable SmartFly, combining for a maximum tip height of 80.1 meters (263.7 feet). The 120|HTLB is built on the same platform as the 120|HT with excellent ride quality, braking performance, and V-CALC outrigger positioning, charting competitively with four-axle truck cranes of a similar size across the market.
“We anticipate a strong showing of attendees for Link-Belt and HSC,” said Melvin Porter, Link-Belt Cranes President and Chief Executive Officer. “Of course, being an international show, these two models are well suited for global crane users.”
