Link-Belt Cranes hosts ‘I Make America’

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) visited Link-Belt Cranes as part of its “I Make America” tour on Friday, Oct. 10.

Stopping by in its “Manufacturing Express” bus, AEM promoted its campaign through a raffle and a series of prizes available to Link-Belt employees. First launched in 2010, AEM devised the campaign “to give the 2.3 million men and women of the industry a powerful, united voice for pro-manufacturing policies,” per the organization’s website.

Link-Belt Cranes President Melvin Porter said groups like AEM are vital to the success of American manufacturing and a qualified workforce.

“Link-Belt Cranes was honored to host the AEM Manufacturing Express in support of the I Make America campaign,” Porter said. “This event provided a valuable opportunity to showcase our dedicated workforce and reinforce the importance of advocacy in strengthening the equipment manufacturing sector. Through AEM’s leadership, employees were able to learn more about how their voices contribute to advancing policies that support growth, innovation, and competitiveness across the industry.”
