Link-Belt Cranes wraps up at bauma 2025
Link-Belt Cranes shared a booth at Munich-based bauma 2025 with its sister company, HSC Cranes, where both companies exhibited lattice and telescopic boom products — Link-Belt’s 100|RT and 120|HTLB and HSC’s SCX1000A and SCX2800A. More than 620,000 visitors were on hand over the course of seven days for the international trade show, a slight uptick from bauma 2022.
It was a successful show for both Link-Belt and HSC, with Link-Belt demoing its patented SmartFly on the 100|RT up to three times per day. Guests crowded the booth to watch the demo and take a look at the mechanical fly assembly found throughout Link-Belt’s telescopic product catalog.
“SmartFly is such a simple operation, something Link-Belt has demonstrated for a long time now at trade shows, and it is amazing how many people still stop to watch and see it up close for the first time,” said Michael Dawson, Product Manager for Lattice and Telescopic Crawler Cranes. “The Middle East, Eastern Europe, the U.S. — There were people from all over the world stopping by to see the Link-Belt advantage.”
