Customer Support Director appointed

Lexington, Ky. (September 28, 1998) – Link-Belt Vice President of Sales and Marketing, John C. Claflin, has announced the appointment of John Toher to the position of Director, Customer Support. Toher, in this new position, will be responsible for Parts, Service and Technical Support for Link-Belt Construction Equipment products worldwide.

Toher has served in the Link-Belt organization for over 24 years in many management capacities including manufacturing, sales, marketing and product support. Most recently, he was Director of Parts Operations, where he implemented the reorganization of the parts business and the expansion of the parts distribution facility, which opened in 1997.

Toher is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, with a BS in Industrial Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University.
