Kelly Fiechter and Scott Knight named to new marketing positions

(Lexington, Ky – March 2007)  Bill Stramer, VP Marketing/Sales and Customer Support, Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co. announced new appointments to further broaden and strengthen the Link-Belt crane marketing group.

Effective March 1, Kelly Fiechter, has been reassigned from the lattice crane group to product specialist, telescopic cranes. Kelly’s experience will further broaden and strengthen the crane marketing group overall. Kelly will now report to Rick Curnutte, product manager for telescopic cranes.

Kelly joined Link-Belt in April 2000 and has spent the past six years in the lattice crane group. He has been instrumental in assisting with the introduction of HYLAB cranes. Most recently, Kelly has taken a leadership role in introducing the new TCC-450 telescopic crawler crane to the North American market. Kelly received a BS in Construction Technology from Eastern Kentucky University and resides in Richmond,Ky.

Scott Knight was named market specialist, lattice cranes, reporting to Pat Collins, sr. product manager for lattice cranes. Scott graduated Eastern Kentucky University and his background includes management and sales with a strong working knowledge of construction equipment. Scott and his wife, Teresa have three children and reside in Richmond, Ky.
