William E. "Skeeter" Collins named manager, North American sales

Lexington, KY (March 14, 2011)—William E. "Skeeter" Collins has been named manager, North American sales. Bill Stramer, vice president, marketing, sales and customer support, made the announcement at Link-Belt's headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.

Collins entered the construction equipment business in 1977 as a retail salesman for a Link-Belt distributor and was later promoted to sales manager. He started at Link-Belt in 1989 as a District Manager in the southeastern United States. His responsibilities were later expanded to include major accounts in addition to several significant dealer development projects.

"Nobody in the crane industry has a better understanding of the interaction between crane owners, distributors and the manufacturer than Skeeter Collins," said Stramer. "His industry insight will be invaluable as he moves to this critical leadership position within our company."
