John Toher, Director, Product Support, announced Jeff Schmidt as a District
Service Representative to broaden and further strengthen Link-Belt’s field
service team. Schmidt has a varied background in both the private sector and the
US Navy operating and maintaining heavy equipment. He is a certified crane
operator, has held supervisory positions in both operations and maintenance, and
started and managed his own commercial landscape business. Schmidt resides in
Jacksonville, Florida.
In another product support announcement, Troy Krumm, Manager, Product
Support, announced the promotion of Brian Smoot to Associate Product Technician
to further expand the factory product support team. Smoot graduated from
Morehead State University with a BA in Business Administration. His prior work
as an assistant service manager in an auto dealership gives him a strong
technical background and extensive customer service experience. He lives in
Lexington, Kentucky.
Bruce Kabalen, Supervisor,
Marketing Information, announced the hiring of Susan Miller as Tradeshow
Coordinator. Miller has over 20 years of experience planning tradeshows,
conventions, and incentive programs. She received a BA from Indiana University.
Prior to working at Link-Belt, Miller owned her own business. She lives in
Lexington, Kentucky.
Vi Brine, Customer Service Supervisor, announced the addition of Dan Stifle as Customer Service Representative. Dan has 10 years of experience in all aspects of
the warehousing and shipping business. Dan lives with his wife and two children
in Hillsboro, Kentucky.
