Link-Belt
upgrades its Link-Belt Preferred web site for owners
Las Vegas, NV (March, 2005) –
Link-Belt is demonstrating its
Link-Belt Preferred crane owner’s website during CONEXPO / CONAGG 2005.
Link-Belt Cranes is celebrating its seventh year of technical eSupport
having pioneered the effort to post all of its cranes’ technical manuals
online. Through its outstanding dealer network and loyal customer base,
Link-Belt Cranes was one of the first to provide crane owners with
comprehensive and timely technical information on the web.
In addition to all operator, parts, and shop manuals and technical
bulletins being posted for Link-Belt cranes dating back to 1950, all
available crane literature for all crane models, including brochures,
specifications, and lift capacities are posted on the site, some on the
archival site. Probably the most active site is the customer-favorite
groundbearing calculation site where exact calculations are made in real
time with action graphics.
Enhancements to the highly successful Link-Belt Preferred owner’s
site will include more serial number specific information communications
like crane asset management tools, user-defined machine alerts, enhanced
product improvement/ warranty/campaign communications, and much more.
The Link-Belt Preferred site – including all parts, service, and
operator manuals and groundbearing calculation – currently has over
3,500 crane users accessing Link-Belt specific crane information on a
24/7 basis. New users access the site from Link-Belt’s home page (www.linkbelt.com)
and are required to supply a validated Link-Belt model and serial number
during the registration process.
“This site gives Link-Belt crane owners unprecedented access to
information on their specific crane, whenever and wherever they need
it,” said Link-Belt vice-president of marketing, sales, and product
support, Bill Stramer. “Through the continued use of today’s technology
applied to the crane user’s needs, we feel Link-Belt will continue to be
a leader in customer service and satisfaction worldwide.”
