Link-Belt announces line-up
for 2005 Con-Expo show

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 2005) — Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company will exhibit six cranes and announce other products at the CONEXPO / CON-AGG trade show in Las Vegas, March 15-19, 2005. Located in the Gold Lot, booth #260, Link-Belt will conduct live demonstrations daily to showcase the new features on three telescopic boom and three lattice boom cranes.

The units on display at this year’s CONEXPO are:

218 HYLAB HSL
As a continuation of the highly successful HYLAB (HYdraulic LAttice Boom) series of lattice boom cranes first introduced to the North America market in 1987, Link-Belt will unveil the new 218 HSL, the first crane design from the Hitachi-Sumitomo-Link-Belt alliance that ushers in a whole new era of reliable, customer driven crane design.

248 HYLAB 5
The 248 H5 lattice boom crawler crane now has bar type pendants, new counterweight removal and more that makes this industry standard crane even better.

348 HYLAB 5
The recently introduced 348 H5 has 2 two new attachments and will be shown with the 60-ton fixed jib attachment that complements the very newest 70-ton capacity luffing attachment, making this crawler crane an even more versatile hit in the marketplace.

RTC-8060 Series II
The new RTC-8060 Series II rough terrain crane comes fully rigged with a transport weight of less than 90,000 lbs.

ATC-3130 SII
The second generation ATC-3130 SII all-terrain crane features a new 3rd axle lift plus many other new performance features.

HTC-8690
The industry leading 90-ton telescopic truck crane, that has met with outstanding customer pre show orders, will be showcased in addition to the announcement of rear steer capability on the new HTT model.

Link-Belt will also showcase its Link-Belt Preferred exclusive website for Link-Belt crane owners that has serial number driven online technical information that is useful for not only repair and maintenance but for operation and training as well.
