Link-Belt Preferred site enhanced

(Lexington,Ky - March 18, 2004) Link-Belt has released new enhancements including a new, user-friendly home page for its Link-Belt Preferred web site. This two-year-old web site, which is exclusive to Link-Belt Crane owners, now features archived brochures and specification sheets for over 150 non-current Link-Belt cranes. This action was taken in response to customer requests for documentation of fleet cranes.

The posting of this archived sales literature completes the library of archived technical information, including operator, shop and parts manuals for over 230 models.

The Link-Belt Preferred web site is also home for the highly successful and dynamic ground bearing forces calculator, which has gained high marks from Link-Belt crane owners since it became available online in 2001. Based on the crane model and specific lift requirements, this calculator presents the crane’s ground bearing reactions in a 360-degree visual and numerical display.

Access requires registration of a Link-Belt serial number to receive a user name and password. Then you simply click on the Link-Belt Preferred home page at http://www.linkbelt.com and you have joined thousands of other Link-Belt Crane owners with access to the most current Link-Belt information.
