mammoth muscle to Link-Belt’s already potent lattice boom lineup, the
548 brings a new level of transportability and strength to this heavy
lift class.
It has to be a Link-Belt: The new HTC-3140LB
Link-Belt introduced
the brand-new HTC-3140LB 140-ton (Intn’l rating: 120-mt) hydraulic truck
crane at ConExpo in Las Vegas. Designed as a simple, cost-effective

all-new RTC-80130 Series II 130-ton (Intn’l rating: 120-mt) rough
terrain crane at ConExpo in Las Vegas. The biggest RT Link-Belt has ever
produced, this new crane combines the enormously successful attributes
of the RTC-80100 Series II, 100-ton (90.7-mt) RT with Link-Belt’s
latching boom technology to create one of the strongest, most easily
transported RT’s in the industry.
Unbeatable: Link-Belt’s 138 HSL
At ConExpo in Las
Vegas, Link-Belt displayed the 80-ton (72.6-mt) 138 HSL lattice boom
crawler crane. This crane has set a new benchmark in the 80-ton
(72.6-mt) crawler crane class. For over twenty years, customer
satisfaction has made Link-Belt’s 138 series (the H, HII, and HYLAB 5)
the market leader in North America. The 138’s moneymaking features have
simply been unbeatable. With better capacities and even easier assembly
and transportability, the HSL has extended the 138’s market dominance.
A
born legend:
Link-Belt’s 298 HSL
Link-Belt showed the 298 HSL, a 230-ton (208.6
mt) hydraulic lattice boom crawler crane at ConExpo in Las Vegas.
Perfect for all types of work, the 298 HSL provides the replacement
answer for all the aging 230-ton crawlers in fleets around the world.
Because of this crane’s performance, easy assembly and disassembly, and
easy transportability, that replacement decision is easy.
The bar has been raised: Link-Belt’s HTC-8675 Series II
At ConExpo in Las Vegas,
Link-Belt displayed the HTC-8675 Series II 75-ton (Intn’l rating: 70-mt)
telescopic truck crane that has reset the standard in the 70–75-ton

established new performance standards for North American truck cranes
and captured the lion’s share of the market for over a decade. Now, this
all-new crane has strengthened this legacy with even more standard
features, longer reach, outstanding lift capacities, and improved
over-the-road mobility.

Dickinson
& Sons’ 218 HSL proves to be perfect fit
The South and Spring Street Parking Garage, now under
construction in downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is a
difficult construction project for a number of reasons. Not the
least of these is the limitation of space. The consensus is that
if a contractor had to design a crane specifically for a job
like this, they probably couldn’t do a better job than Link-Belt
has already done. The 218HSL, in the luffer configuration, is a
compact, maneuverable machine with a small footprint, stability,
reach and lift.
Chuck Martz named CONEXPO 2008 Chairman
