  • Berea arts & crafts
Berea, located 40 miles south of Lexington on I-75, is the official "Folk Arts & Crafts Capital" of the Kentucky. Berea is also home to dozens of craft studios and galleries. If you time your visit right, you can attend one of the outstanding craft fairs held three times a year in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Indian Fort Theater. Be sure to make a reservation to eat at the famous Boone Tavern while you're in Berea!
  • Flag Fork Herb Farm
Take home a taste of Kentucky from the Flag Fork Herb Farm. Gourmet food items, crafted items and herbal gardening supplies fill this brick cottage. Enjoy lunch in the Garden Cafe, looking out on their 1/4 acre flower garden.
  • Regional destination
Fayette Mall and Hamburg Pavilion are regional destination points for one-stop retail shopping. Civic Center Shops, The Mall at Lexington Green and Lansdowne Shoppes are the homes of specialty stores such as Artique and Chico's.
