Horse Park
A working
horse farm like no other in the world, the Kentucky Horse Park
features world-class horse and music events, polo matches, two outstanding
museums
and more than forty different breeds of horses. An enjoyable learning
experience for everyone —
from those unfamiliar with the horse to the
horse expert.
- Keeneland
A visit
to Keeneland is not soon forgotten. Located in the heart of Bluegrass
country, this National Historic Landmark is home to some of the
world's most prestigious Thoroughbred races and auctions. In addition,
there is a constant bustle of activity for simulcast races. Don't
forget to eat breakfast at the Track Kitchen!
- Red
Mile Harness Track
The Red
Mile is Lexington's oldest existing racetrack, dating to 1875, as well
as one of the nation's most respected harness tracks.

Horse
farm tours
Visiting a horse farm while
you're in town is a uniquely Bluegrass experience you'll long
remember. There are about 450
horse farms in the region (about 150 in Lexington/Fayette County
alone), and more than a few allow visitors by
appointment or through arrangements with professional tour companies.
